UKUNDA, is a bustling small town on the South Coast located 35 kms south of Mombasa that serves as a back bone for Diani beach and Galu beach by way of shops, banks, hardware stores, bars, restaurants, petrol stations and a Post Office. The road to the T-junction at the beach is roughly 2 kms. From Ukunda going south, the tarmac road carries on to Tanzania.
