Pangani used to be occupied by predominantly residents of Asian origin but is now mixed. It has houses and apartments of varying quality from shoddy to rather nice. Pangani is close to Parklands and has various general smaller shops and scattered kiosks. The Village Market is close enough for major shopping and entertainment.
