Ongata Rongai is a new, fast growing and lively Nairobi suburb. It lies on the Magadi Road beyond and bordering Nairobi National Park to the west. The residents of Ongata Rongai stem mainly from the lower to middle class income brackets and it is growing at a rapid rate. Ongata Rongai has most banks represented in its area as well as a Police Station, a hospital, clinics, supermarkets, shops, bars and pubs. Two very good school are in close driving distance, The Brookhouse School and the Banda School, both with British curriculums. Traffic to and from Ongata Rongai can be somewhat trying during peak hours.
