Ngong/Kiserian, located beyond Karen and Langata towards the Ngong Hills, was Masai country in the old days and still maintains a rural feel. Located on the foothills of the Ngong Hills it has houses, maisonettes, apartments and mere rooms in housing blocks. Some of the houses still have livestock with its owners practicing small scale farming. It is a 30 minute drive from Nairobi's city centre.
