Narok, a unique, kaleidoscopic, colourful town in Masai country west
of Nairobi in the Great Rift Valley. The town lies at an altitude of
over 1800m and is mostly inhabited by Masai, more than 40,000 people, and it is also their district capital. Narok is
the last major town before entering the great Masai plains where also
the world famous game sanctuary, the Masai Mara Game Reserve, is
located. The Masai Mara is arguably the greatest wildlife spectacle on
the planet.
