NANYUKI

NANYUKI is a small up-country market town on the north western foot of Mt Kenya 190 km north of Nairobi. The equator passes right through the town that caters for the northern territories and the many ranches in the surrounding areas. It has supermarkets, shops, hardware stores, butcheries, hotels and a few superb restaurants in the area. There are also a number of National Parks and reserves in the vicinity surrounding Nanyuki. South of the town there is also an airport with services that provides regular flights to Nairobi.  Accommodation is plentiful in Nanyuki and the surrounding area.
