NAKURU, Kenya's fourth largest city, is situated 140 km from Nairobi and is the capital of the Rift Valley Province. The city and its surrounding regions have vast resources in terms of agriculture and tourism. Lake Nakuru National Park is small but unique in that it contains algae that attract gigantic numbers of flamingos lining its shores. Of late the park is also known for its large numbers of rhinos.
