MSAMBWENI BEACH, 60 kms south of Mombasa, is a relaxed and quiet beach on the South coast. The beach here is completely unspoiled and at most places is higher up on coral elevations that lead down to the beach. It is a green and lush coastal strip with massive mango and baobab trees. Local fishermen sell their catch directly on the beach and it is as fresh as it gets. There are fewer resorts and mostly private rental houses along the coastline.
