Lavington is a very popular residential area of Nairobi due to its excellent location being not far from Westlands, Nairobi city centre and the Karen / Langata areas. There is a good mix of many large houses with fine gardens, smaller houses on less acreage gardens and also apartment buildings. Lavington Green has a large supermarket, a butchery and various other stores and restaurants. The Junction cinema and shopping complex is close by. Both Braeburn and Braeside schools are located in Lavington. Security in Lavington is very good.
