Langata, a suburb of Nairobi situated south west of the city centre that runs adjacent to Karen. The area consists both of fine villas with extensive gardens and, further towards town, estates with apartments and maisonettes. Langata borders the famous Nairobi National Park and contains East Africa's largest small aircraft airport, Wilson Airport. Langata has numerous British international schools and contains the well known Carnivore restaurant.
