Kilimani is a central residential area about 6 km west of Nairobi's downtown city. It is in close proximity to the large Yaya shopping centre, the Junction cinema and shopping complex, Nairobi Hospital, Kenyatta Hospital, the French School, the Swedish School and various fitness studios, restaurants and night clubs. It contains a great variety of shops and has most facilities a city will have to offer. Kilimani mainly consists of upper-mid income flats and maisonettes and office blocks.
