Kileleshwa, separated from the city centre through the Nairobi Arboretum, was in the past a green and lush suburb of Nairobi but is rapidly being developed with large apartment buildings and maisonettes shooting up. It is still fairly quiet and the security is good with a Police Station and numerous hospitals, supermarkets and restaurants in relative close vicinity.
