KIAMBU, a small town situated 16 km north of Nairobi, is surrounded by undulating farmland that is in the process of being swallowed up by Nairobi due to its close vicinity to the city. There is a large market in town and it boasts one of the oldest golf courses in Kenya. Kiambu is the centre of the Kiambu Kikuyu clan.
