Eastleigh, east of the city centre, is a Nairobi suburb with predominantly middle class residents and with a large Somali presence. As well as a residential area Eastleigh has become a bustling business district with a large array of products from Asia and numerous shopping centres. There are also primary and secondary schools plus an air force base in Eastleigh. Eastleigh is divided into Eastleigh North and Eastleigh South.
